The Windward School
The Windward School is a premier independent day school for children with dyslexia or other language-based learning disabilities. Windward remediates a student’s dyslexia or LBLD in preparation for a return to a mainstream school environment.
I joined the Windward School in the fall of 2024 and am completing my first year as a Teacher-in-Residence. I am happy to have joined the Windward Community and plan on remaining a member in the coming years.

Pottery Coop
The Oberlin Pottery Coop was established in the 1980’s and has been creating, recycling and firing clay uninterrupted since. I joined the Pottery Coop and became its treasurer in 2021 and worked there in a leadership role until my graduation in 2023.

The Living Machine
The Living Machine is a plant-based water treatment system housed in the Environmental building at Oberlin College. I joipned the team maintaining that space in 2020 and worked there until my graduation in 2023. I maintained the health of the Living Machine, tended the grounds surrounding the AJLC, and worked on our gardens.

The Fulbright Program is the flagship international academic exchange program sponsored by the United States Government. I was selected to teach in Germany in the 2023-2024 academic year. While there I gained a deeper love for teaching and learned what it takes to be a teacher on par with the excellence I recieved throughout my life and observed in the teachers at my host institution.
I intend on returning to Germany to work as a teacher for a short time after I have gained my Master’s in Education in several years.

Table-Top Role Playing Game Master
I have played D&D(and other systems) for 6 years and have created a world spanning 13 Countries and many more distinct cultures. Here is a resource I made for using Culinary Magic in my own home game. I included herbs and descriptions taken from Dael Kingsmill’s resource, found here.

The Cat in The Cream
The Cat In The Cream is a community center in Oberlin Ohio, which puts on events to help facilitate community, provide an event space for: student organizations, town events, and the Jazz Dept. I joined the Cat in the Cream in the summer of 2021 and worked there until my graudation in 2023. While there I worked as a manager, treasurer, booker, event producer, and (above all else) a baker.
I am proud to say that I was a managaer at The Cat and returned us to our status as a community center after it reduced operations. and prominence, during the 2020 shutdown.
